Furthermore, he served his internship at Baptist Medical Center and conducted his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University – Long Island College Hospital (1985-1988). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY (1988-1991). Dr. Huey received board certification in internal medicine, and the subspecialty of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism from the American Board of Internal Medicine. A Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (FAACE), he is in good standing with the Endocrine Society, the Chinese American Medical Society, the Chinese American Independent Practice Association, and the American Diabetes Association.
